Bayard Kennett grew up in Conway, NH, attended Phillips Exeter Academy, and graduated from Colby College in Waterville, Maine with a BA in Business Administration.  He began his professional career as a commercial banker with Bankers Trust Co. in New York City and later with Bank East in Manchester, NH.

Bayard moved back to Mt. Washington Valley in 1977 to manage his family’s realty and land holding companies.  As he immersed himself in the family businesses and community boards, Bayard realized that in finding his way home, he had found his way to a great community full of opportunity and dedicated people.
