2018 marks my 30th year as a real estate broker here in the Mount Washington Valley. After graduating from the University of Maine in Orono with a degree in forestry, I moved to the Valley and realized that here I could do all things I loved to do and enjoy a quality of life I knew I always wanted. It’s been a fun 30 years being a real estate agent. In those years I have served on various town boards, from planning and zoning boards to trust fund trustee. Professionally, I have been involved in the leadership of the White Mountain Board of Realtors working my way up the ranks from a director to President and Realtor of the Year. This carried me into being involved on a state level serving on the NH Association of REALTOR board of directors and as a regional VP. As a RE/MAX agent I have been fortunate to earn induction into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame and been given the Lifetime Achievement Award. Though those have been rewarding professionally, it is the relationships I have developed with clients over the years that have been the most rewarding. It always seems to amaze my wife and children to the point where it is has become a family joke, that we can’t travel anywhere where I don’t run into an old client whether we’re on a cruise, the top of a mountain or on a remote island. I love living in the mountains of New Hampshire and enjoy the work of helping others to find the right property for them to do the same as well. I am one of the broker/owners of RE/MAX Presidential and look forward to the day in the coming year when my middle son graduates from college and returns to join me as a salesperson at RE/MAX Presidential.
