Sandwich is a town that includes the villages of Center Sandwich and North Sandwich. Part of the White Mountain National Forest is in the north. Center Sandwich is on beautiful Squam Lake. There is also a covered bridge in the east. You'll find many styles of homes from cabins to luxury designs throughout Sandwich.
As one of the oldest establishments in the White Mountains, Sandwich began to be an attraction for visitors, summer residents, and artists in the early 1800's. The New Hampshire League of Arts & Crafts began in Sandwich in 1920 and continues today. Each fall the town hosts the Sandwich Fair.
